Win98 Force Logon

I config my win98 laptop to logon to a NT domain which force logon at windows logon screen. I reconfigure the laptop to the default setting but it still force me to enter a password and user name if I choose cancel it does not give me access to the computer/Does not allow me into windows only when I boot in safe mode .Please help I desperate
