WIN98 hangs on reboot

I have a DELL L566cx with WIN98SE. When I do a shutdown and restart, the machine will sometimes hang on the reboot side on Windows SPLASH screen. I have to yank the power cord, reboot it, select Normal Mode, and then everyhting is fine. I did Ghost this machine original from an identical Dell Model. Any ideas?
