WinAmp memory leak?

Has anyone (graphics designers especially)noticed that while using WinAmp during usage of Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or 3DS Max that memory becomes full to the extent that you get into a “soft” lock situtation? When I say soft lock I mean that the num lock and caps lock lights still can be activated and you can shut down some of the apps but the computer doesn’t ever recover until it is shut down and cold booted.
