Windows 200 Modem problems

Hi my name is Robert, I install windows 2000 im my computer and I have problem with my modem.Every time i want to connect to the internet is connecting ok but after few min.it automaticaly disconecting,every time.I use to have windows Me and was working fine.Can anyone help please.
