Windows 2000 blank screen problem

I have the same problem in both of my Windows 2000 servers. When I lock and then unlock my server I get only black blue screen – actually blank desktop without any icons on it. Server is still functional but I cannot do or see anything. Ctrl-alt-delworks and after I restart everything is back to normal… unless I lock it again.
Any ideas?
