Windows 95 Mode

When starting, I get a message that .\iosubsys is corrupt or I am out of memory. I have a regular pentium with 32 meg ram and nothing fancy.
Cannot start the pc in normal mode. When I try to start safe mode #2, create Bootlog.txt, the system hangs. Only way to start is thru regular safe mode.
