Windows 98 Question

Windows 98, as we all know, is horribly unstable. The only reason I run it is for the USB support. I’m thinking of going to a different, hopefully more stable, OS. Would you suggest Windows 95C or Windows 2000(based on NT)? Any opinions would behelpful! Thanks!
