Windows error message

After a normal bootup, “Pc has a AMDK 500 chip single cpu mother board” when the splash screen shows is displayed an error message of the following is shown.

“Dual Stack divide overflow error”

The problem started with an virus, could not get rid of the virus. Sent Norton the info, no word back yet.

Tested parts with a known good PC.

Motherboard, CPU, video card, monitor, ram, HD.

The change of the HD worked one time, after that the known good PC is now doing the same thing alongwith the first PC.

Called Microsoft asked for help, they at first said a monitor is the problem. Then they say it’s not there problem.

Any ideas?
