Windows installs PCI Bus Master IDE cont

I have a IBM Thinkpad a21m laptop. It is having trouble getting on the Internet and other problems.

Under Control Panel>System>Device Manager>Hard disk controllers it shows two devices labelled “Standard Bus Mastering IDE Controller.” It also shows a device called “Intel 8237AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller.” This device conflicts in IRQ as well as with memory locations with the other controllers. Every time I remove this conflicting device and reboot, Windows automatically finds it and reinstalls the driver. How can I get rid of it?
