Windows security

The last Week or so, I have been receiving mail in a window called “Messenger Service” directly to my I.P. address. I initially thought this might be a worm of some kind, so I ran a virus scan using McAfee, with the latest dat file available, but Itturned up nothing. Any ideas on where this is coming from? Thanks…
