Windows XP has no drivers for Canon prin

Having been a pioneer all my computing life, I rushed straight to the computer store to by XP Home edition upgrade as soon as it hit the shelves. I have since found that my Caonon Multipass all-in-one printer does not work with XP, and Canon’s helpdesk said they knew of no release date for drivers for XP! So, anyone buying a new PC with XP installed presumably won’t be buying any Canon products for a while!
