winmgmt.exe error

OK this is a problem ive been trying to figure out for a while, a win managment error pops up everytiume i restart win2000.
it says, “winmgmt.exe has created errors. windows wil now close this program.” everytime i click ok on this error window it pops up about 10-15 seconds later. i have figured out how to stop it but it is not what i want to do everytime i restart my computer. if i run the program a couple of times then it will stop, but i would liek to know how to keep it from popping up.
