Workstation service not present!

Hi there.
I am trying to dialup to my company’s remote access server. It works but strange things happen, like I cannot connect to shared drives, and setting up Outlook to connect to the Exchagne server fails. After I do a ‘check name’ to resolve my user id, I get the error message that ‘network problems are preventing the conection to the exchange server. contact network admin’.

After doing a net view of my exchange server, its says that the Workstation service is not started. After trying to start the workstation service, its says ‘workstation service not found’.

I did an upgrade from 98 and installed SP2. I believe that the workstation service missing is hold me up. How do I fix? THANKS!
