WP 8 and Safe Mode

After installing WordPerfect 8 on the system I started getting random boots into Safe Mode. I could force the system into normal mode and everything worked fine but the Windows Startup menu to go into Safe Mode would still occasionally come up. In every other respect the system appears to be working normally. No other error messages come up on either boot or shutdown.
