I recently bought a upgrade copy of XP pro. To make sure I got the most stable install I could have I backed up my stuff, formatted my disk, reinstalled a fresh copy of WIN98SE.. then ran my XP upgrade. Then proceeded to download all the XP updates. After that I began to reinstall all my applications. At that point I was feeling like XP was truly the stable OS its said to be. Until I ran my web cam. EVERY time I start to stream the live video I get a hard crash. I dont mean frozen screen or blue screen. Im talking my system reboots itself out of nowhere! The web cam im using is an Intel model with drivers designed for XP Pro. But whether I use Netmeeting or the software it came with, I crash. Is this a known issue for XP or isthere some type of secret fix?! Help.
