Zip 100 USB in Linux with kernel 2.2.14

I have Suse Linux 6.4 on my system along with Windows 98 and Windows 2000. I recently bought Zip100 USB drive which works perfect with Windows 98 and 2000. But I need to figure out a way to get it to work under Linux. When I type “/sbin/init.d/usb status” at the command prompt. It recognises my device but I dont know how to connect to it. Any help would be helpful.
