ZIP DRIVE and ACROBAT PDF WRITER

I recently installed a Zip Drive on to a Computer and each time I try to save a file to the Zip Disk, I get a message that the Disk is write protected.

How can I resolve this problem?

I had Windows SE on my computer and I also got Acrobat PDF Writer among the Printer Drivers. However, I observed that after installing Windows ME the Acrobat PDF Writer is not among the Printer Drivers.

How can I get back Acrobat PDF Writer?
