Sony’s WF-1000XM6 is the best overall choice, while Soundcore’s Liberty 5 Pro gives you many of the same work-friendly features for much less. Dell stands out for Teams and Zoom certification, AirPods Pro 3 fit Apple-heavy setups, and Bose is the strongest option when blocking distractions matters most.

Best wireless earbuds for work calls in 2026
Sony WF-1000XM6: Best overall. Sony supports multipoint connectivity and rates the earbuds for up to five hours of continuous call time with active noise cancellation (ANC) on.
RTINGS found that the microphone keeps voices natural and separates speech well from most background noise. Extremely loud surroundings can still interfere, but Sony combines strong call performance with excellent noise isolation and easy switching between two devices. The catch is the $329.99 price.
Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro: Best value. At $169.99, the Liberty 5 Pro supports connections to as many as three devices and offers 6.5 hours of advertised playback with ANC on.
RTINGS’ Liberty 5 Pro testing found clear speech and very good separation between your voice and surrounding noise. Processing can cut into speech in especially loud places, but for calls from home, an office, or a coffee shop, it offers a lot for the money.
Dell Pro Plus EB525: Best for Teams and Zoom. Dell lists Microsoft Teams and Zoom certification, support for eight paired devices, and two simultaneous connections.
Dell rates the EB525 for up to five hours of ANC-on talk time. The certification makes it appealing if most of your workday happens inside Teams or Zoom, but it should be treated as a compatibility advantage rather than proof that its microphone sounds better than Sony’s or Soundcore’s.
AirPods Pro 3: Best for Apple users. Apple sells AirPods Pro 3 for $249 and includes Voice Isolation, automatic switching across compatible Apple devices, and up to eight hours of listening with ANC enabled.
RTINGS found that microphone performance improves noticeably when the earbuds are paired with an iPhone compared with its PC-based setup. That makes them a better fit for iPhone and Mac users than for someone taking most calls on a Windows PC. The same ecosystem tradeoff comes up when comparing AirPods Pro 3 with Galaxy Buds4 Pro.
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen): Best for noise cancellation. Bose currently lists the earbuds at $249, down from $299, with multipoint connectivity and up to six hours of playback.
RTINGS found outstanding noise isolation and clean, natural speech under normal conditions. The microphone struggles more with sustained loud noise, but Bose is a strong pick if hearing less office chatter matters as much as sounding clear.
If you would rather stay aware of conversations and announcements, Sony’s open-ear LinkBuds Clip takes the opposite approach by leaving the ear canal open.
What to look for before buying earbuds for work
Start with the devices you actually use. If you move between a laptop and phone all day, multipoint can save a surprising amount of friction. Apple users should also check whether the features they want depend on staying inside Apple’s ecosystem.
For calls, microphone performance in background noise matters more than how good an earbud sounds in a quiet room. Battery figures deserve a close look too: music playback and continuous talk time are not always the same.
Comfort is harder to judge from specifications, so buy from somewhere with a reasonable return policy if possible. Earbuds that sound excellent but become uncomfortable halfway through a long meeting are not much use for work.
Long-term ownership can matter at these prices, too. The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 5 is unusual because both the earbuds and charging case use replaceable batteries, potentially extending their useful life.
For most people, Sony offers the best all-around package. Soundcore is the better value, Dell makes the most sense for Teams and Zoom-heavy use, AirPods Pro 3 are strongest inside Apple’s ecosystem, and Bose is the pick when noise cancellation comes first.
