_restore ???

In C:\_restore\temp I have a total of 65,534 files which total 10.3 gb
The file names start with A0007949.cpy and
continue to A0242088.cpy
May I delete these files?
Also there is 1 more file named Pileup.o 1120 KB
May this file be deleted?

sounds like norton system restore files? or mfg restore files..? anything in a temp folder i would not worry too much about. if i wonder if i can delete a folder, i rename it first if no fallout, then delete...

To be absolutely sure if they are safe to delete you need to identify what program created them. You should then use that program to delete them, it should have a process to clean out old files.

One thing that should help in a MS Windows system is to go to My Computer, select the drive, right click and choose Properties, then activate the button 'Clean Drive' and then follow the on screen options.
