Cleanup and planning issue.

This is a continuation of a discussion started here: (TRGC Part 1)
And continued here: (TRGC Part 2)
Then proceeded to carry on here: (TRGC Part 3)
You can find Part #4 here:
Part #5 can be located here:
Part #6 is here:

Part #6 got huge, so it's looking like time for Part #7.
Whoda thunk it?

So, what did you do in the way of yard and garden cleanup in prep for Spring? What did you have success with this year? What didn't you have success with? What will you change in the way of how you do things next year?

Anybody do any canning?

Some cleanup pics, to get things started. Minor description with each pic in the album.

Happy planning!

Martian what do you expect in Victoria

by HAL 9000 Moderator In reply to wish it were winter here. ...

You get all seasons in an hour and burnt out at least every other day.

You need to move to a decent State where the only issue is No Water in the dams.

Cool here today something like 15C but it's been raining for the past couple of days off and on. It was 35C before the rain started and is now positively Cold. :0

I have of appreciating 30C is to look at a chart on my German-made, triple-motherboard, on-demand electric water-heater for my shower. The output is displayed in C, while a handy chart printed below gives it in F.

I have output set at 42C, which corresponds to 107.6F.

So, if you are at 30C, my chart says 86F.

That's warm.

In a trivia post here not long ago.

My port in a storm has always remained the STP (Standard Pressure and Temperature)of physics and chemistry: 20C = 68F. I reason from there to find my way.

Found out about the significance 50 years ago when I studied in grade school. I took it upon myself to reset the thermostat in my family's house in the dead of winter to a scientifically agreeable 20C.

Next morning, my dad bellowed, "WHO THE ****.."

I don't know about that Boxy

by HAL 9000 Moderator In reply to 86F.

It all depends on the Humidity.

At one place that I used to live I went from 40+ C to 36 C and nearly died from the oppressive heat at the destination Oh did I mention that the Humidity was something like 5000000000% that I had just driven to. Way too uncomfortable for me. I preferred the hotter Dryer temps any day.

Sorry no can do Martin

Mainly because SWMBO has got the Boats to hire out when ti rains now. The bottom corner of the Back Yard gets about 3 foot of water dammed and she is insisting on Hiring out the Play Boats when this happens.

When we first moved in there was a flood down there and we haven't seen that again yet. I just don't want to be downhill of that as the Solid Fence will give way and the Wall of Water will wash everything in it's path away. I want to film SWMBO trying to catch her boats when that happens. :^0

Boxy I had a lot of Success

by HAL 9000 Moderator In reply to - TR Garden Club -- Part ...

By ignoring it all and not doing a single thing. But as I'm Lazy who cares.

Spring is coming along nicely though and all the new youngsters are just so noisy.

When I walk out the back they jump on the tree branches to get me wet from the rain of the past few days. Perhaps I should stop feeding them as Punishment.

I tried to get some photos of the baby Rosella's today but they are just so flighty that all I got where shots of empty grass and bread. :8}

I wonder how I can get a H2 Blad back here to take some decent pictures well at least viewable if not decent.
