Using material in usergroup newsletter

By mwr2145 ·
I represent a Computer Users group in Elkhart, Indiana. Our user group is ?Elkhart PC Users Group? (EPCUG). We have a membership of about 350 and an average attendance of 70 to 80 each month. We are asking for permission to use material which you have on your website in our monthly newsletter. We mail issues to all members plus we distribute about 500 copies to local libraries, computer stores, and schools. We give source references and urls on all material we use.
We are one of the largestusers groups in Indiana and have no annual dues, so are not in a position to pay for material used. We would appreciate permission to use use the material from your newsletter and will resect any restrictions, which would apply.
We respectfully await a reply.
Thank You.

Hate to tell you Bill, but you are very unlikely to get any reply from someone at Techrepublic here. These are essentially un-moderated forums.

For your particular circumstances, you need to click on the "Content Services" link at the bottom of the TechRepublic webpage. From there you will find a link labeled "License TechRepublic content for your site or publication". This will take you to a page with contact information for the appropriate individual to help you.

Good luck.
