Hi,

We need a bit more information...

What OS is on machine that you added?
What OS machine is on the machine that cant see it?
What configurations have you made so far?
Did you set up networking? Assigned IP adresses, that sort of thing?
Cheers,
Tim.

Hi,

Make sure you have NetBIOS enabled as a protocol on both machines.

Cheers,
Tim.

Hello

You do not say what the network is so I assume its Microsoft. If this is the case then it can take a while for the browser tables to update before the new computer will be seen in the network neighbourhood.Saying that,if you search for the new computer by its name by using the "find files/computer" then you should see it as this option is not dependent on the browser being updated. This happened when we attatched a NAS device onto our network and could not be seen on network neighbourhood

Cheers

If you are using a microsoft network and assigned IP addresses and workgroup name correctly, then the case could be like this. If you installed different network cards in workstations then it will be difficult to have connected pcs in network neighbourhood. You will have to use find computer utility, instead. I hope this will solve your problem.
