WINDOWS 2000 SERVER FOR DIAL-IN

By sbn20002001 ·
Good day.
I use a 77.8kbps upstream and 2mbps downstream satellite connection for internet access. I have 11 IP addresses I can use, which are currently being used by the PCs in the cyber cafe. However, I upgraded one PC to windows 2000 server, in order to give access to dial-in clients using an analog phone line. The RRAS configurations went on smoothly, but for one step. I have a static IP (10.0.2.51) for the server, with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 I keep having the message that the subnet mask can't be more specific than the IP. I was proposed another IP, but I feel using the other IP will prevent me from the Internet access. Please, what subnet mask can I use to go through successfully? Could any other thing be the bottleneck?
Thanks.
