I have a laptop that I use inside of two different Windows 2000 Server domains. The laptop is running Windows 2k pro. The First domain uses DHCP for it’s adressing and the second requires a hardcoded IP address with gateway and DNS info. Currently I have to manually join the machine to the domain I have it plugged into and then manually reset the ip settings depending on the domain tha I am in. Surely Microsoft would have anticipated this and setup an easier way to have the machine remain as a member of both domains and automatically reset the ip info accordingly. Thank-you for any suggestions you provide me in advance.
