I have a ASUS A7N266-VM MOTHERBOARD, with ATHLON XP 2000+ PROCESSOR & 256 MB DDR RAM.On my computer WIN 98, WINDOWS XP PROFESSIONAL(WITHOUT ANY SERVICE PACKS) runs without any problem, but whenever I try to install WINDOWS XP PRO SERVICE PACK 2, my CPU jumps to 100 %, and stays like that no matter what hotfix I apply. I have checked that the 99 cpu is taken by SYSTEM process only. I really don’t know why my computer doest run with service pack 2. PLEASE HELP!
