I have a client who is running a two pc network. One system has Windows 2000 on it and the other has Windows 2000 with Service Pack 1 on it. The prog is ms-dos based. He’s installed it on both. When he runs it on the system without the service pack it runs just fine. When he runs it on the system with the servie pack, it gives him this error message
“16-bit MS-DOS Subsystem
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction; CS:00×3 IP:693c OP:d9 0d 65 23 e8; Choose ‘Close’ to teminate the application.”
You also can click ignore but that just locks the program. Does anyone know a fix for this? Will Service Pack 2 help? I am currently downloading 2 for him but it’s gonna take awhile. Is there a way to uninstall service pack 1?
