2000 terminal server as a bdc to nt4.0

Hello.
first can windows 2000 terminal server be a BDC on a windows nt 4 w/sp6a? and if so how. please list the steps if possible. The terminal server can be rebuilt, But the NT Server has to stay as NT due to a special program, that will not be supported till first qurater of 2003.

Please do not suggest upgrading to windows 2000, or downgrading Terminal server. If I have to I can put in the 5 users that will be using Terminal server but would like synchrozation??? 🙂
