    Hello everyone,

As we venture deeper into the year 2024, the SEO landscape is moving at warp speed.
Here are some of the trends and tactics that work well:

    1. Optimization for User Intent
We’ve focused on relevant content rather than all this keyword focusing to match user intent, which has led to better rankings and higher engagement rates. What do you find with the alignment of content with what users are actually searching for?

    2. Local SEO Still Remains a Game Changer
For most local businesses, local SEO has been gold. Optimizing a Google Business Profile and obtaining local backlinks also helped many rank even better within their areas. How do you optimize for local SEO, and what has your experience been in this area?

    3. Mobile Experience and Core Web Vitals
But with mobile-first indexing now fully rolled out, full mobile-friendliness is now non-negotiable. We checked to improve the speed at which sites load and ensure responsive designs while careful attention to Core Web Vitals. Do you have difficulties with these parameters or found especially helpful tools?

    4. Voice Search Optimization
And that is nice, because voice search is growing, and we were adjusting our strategies in order to fit longer, more conversational, long-tail keywords. It is fascinating to observe the contrast between a standard search and a voice query. Did you manage to implement voice search optimization?

    5. AI and Automation in SEO
We’re still just beginning to play around with AI tools as a way to make it easier and quicker to create content, automated reporting, and helping to improve analytics. What a thrill that is. It seems like such an exciting space with huge potential for efficiency improvement. How do you leverage AI in your SEO strategy?

    6. Refresh and Update Your Content
We’ve noticed that refreshing the older content, update with the latest data available, and make sure it still is optimized for the best current SEO practices can be a success. This is not only good for rankings but makes the content current and fresh.
We’d love to hear your thoughts! What’s working for you in 2024? Are there any SEO tactics that have surprised you or trends you’re excited about?

I look forward to listening from this fantastic community!

Great post! I totally agree that aligning content with user intent is key in 2024—focusing on what people are actually searching for has definitely helped boost engagement for me. Local SEO has also been a game-changer, especially optimizing Google Business Profiles and getting local backlinks. I’ve had some success with mobile optimization, but it’s still a challenge to keep Core Web Vitals in check—tools like Google’s PageSpeed Insights have been really helpful. As for AI, I’m just starting to experiment with it for content creation, and it’s been a game-changer for speed and efficiency. Updating old content has also been a great move for improving rankings and keeping things relevant. Excited to see where SEO goes this year!

In reply to 2024 SEO Strategies for Small Businesses: What’s Working for You?

In 2024, small businesses need to prioritize user experience (UX) in their SEO strategies to stay competitive. This includes ensuring websites are mobile-responsive, optimizing site speed for faster load times, and improving navigation to make it intuitive for users. Local SEO remains essential, so businesses should fully optimize their Google My Business (GMB) profiles with accurate contact information, business hours, and reviews, while targeting location-specific keywords to boost local rankings. Additionally, as voice search continues to rise, small businesses should focus on conversational keywords and long-tail phrases that align with how people speak when using voice-activated devices. Combining these strategies, along with creating high-quality content and leveraging AI tools for optimization, can help small businesses improve visibility, drive traffic, and enhance customer engagement in a competitive digital landscape.
