A deleted e-mail

How would one go about finding a certain e-mail which was accidentally “permanently deleted” from their AOL mailbox? (This message was important, so before I permanently deleted it from my mailbox, I saved it on my PC in imcoming saved mail. Only when I went to make sure that it was there… it wasn’t, so I’m guessing at the time something occurred and that’s why it never got saved. But by the time I realized that it wasn’t there, I had already pressed permanently delete.
Ahhhhh…somebody please help!!)
