A little clairification?

By Mickster269 ·
First, I will admit that my Degree is in Political Science. And I graduated from the University of Colorado. I THOUGHT I had seen all sides of the political spectrum, but this one has me baffeled:

Can anyone break this down into non-rant speak?

You have encountered that rare breed of bird............

by sleepin'dawg In reply to A little clairification?

Radiculous Dumbdipshitis Extremis. There are always a few of these from both sides of the spectrum lurking around and despite their quasi pseudo qualifications you should keep the **** away from them. This one states he is a member of mensa, as if that should mean something. This type of mensa member is why one should decline membership if you ever happen to qualify for it.

There is no rationality to be found here.

"Radiculous Dumbdipshitis Extremis" is rare? ****, we've got 'em all over the place here. The season is open year round, no limit, and you don't even need a license.

The way I see it

First, to get the message you have to filter through the obvious hate of President Bush AND Senator Clinton. These two things have a tendacy to get in the way of clearly stating an opinion.

He is right about a few things. To say we "can't deport" the criminals is just as stupid as when President Clinton clearly stated we would NOT send ground troops in.

He is right about the ammount of support Bush is putting on the boarder. Too little.

He is right about the flood of workers willing to work harder for less has driven down the wages for the people that actually have a right to be here.

He is right about completely cutting off illegals from all forms of support other than life threatening emergency care, and then throw them back over the wall after you have saved them.

He is right about making it cost to much for the employer that hires illegals. The money he saves in taxes and lower wages should be nothing compared to the expense of if you get caught. ten times what the legitimate expenses would have been, per infraction.

I don't agree with the part of the wall stopping US citizens from leaving. We would still come and go from the same legal points of entry. It just stops people from coming and going illegally.

His last point is tied into this. That after Senator Clinton ~shudder~ becomes president, her pandering to the poor will make it so highly trained professionals will WANT to start to leave the country and SHE will try to stop this because of the tax revenue they will be taking with them.

But that is just how I see it.

And in his own little circles

by jdclyde In reply to Thanks, jd.

I bet they think he is just a cut-up!

"Oh, they way you disguise your hate with your witt!"

Yes, I have a cousin (Got his doctorate in geology) that is unemployeed is the same way.

If he could let go of the hate, or at least separate that out of his writing, he might be able to get a job someday?

These birds are so filled with hate that they remain unaware of............

flying in ever diminishing circles until they fly right up their own a$$holes. They are only dangerous if they should gain a following that takes them seriously and will follow their orders. Of such things are the Hitlers of this world made.

BTW notice the weirdness of TR censorship. It seems we can call someone an *** but not an a$$hole. Curious. One has to wonder about the kind of mind that decides these sort of things.

Schitbird. Frankly I'm starting to think it is time we discussed the weirdness of censorship as displayed here on TR. I can understand that certain words should be off limits but if *** is admissable, why not a$$hole??? It sometimes really baffles me. It's improving and much better than it was but it still has a long way to go.

Completely off topic- please feel free to ignore!

But having said that...

Dawg, I agree. I don't care to read a lot of blue language but don't find it offensive- just bothersome if there was a better way to put something than by employing Carlin's 7 words.

I would like to think that we are all adults and intellegent enough to not use "those" words inappropriately. The problem occurs when we have the newcomer that thinks it is okay to post a slew of off-colour slang with no foundation. That said- it could be a quick and simple way to determine if a newcomer is worth bringing along. Either way, I have never known you or JD or most of the folks here use off-colour language when there was a more creative way to put something.

Incidentally- I know whereof I speak. My ex-husband was an active duty sailor all of our married life. He could swear in multiple languages. Not me. But I am a terror in ASL (American Sign Language)!

Just my opinion...

Tig,I've noticed you do that a few times and I don't quite understand it.

You are a seemingly intelligent person (notice the non-mention of gender)and you felt strongly enough about a subject, to comment upon it. Why, with you being so intelligent, would you ask me to ignore your comment, which by the way was only off topic because I had moved the discussion in that direction, not you. If it is of any satisfaction to you, we happen to be in agreement on that subject.

I would suggest you should have more confidence in yourself. You are obviously intelligent and with a good sense of humour as well. Don't do that to yourself. Whether I agree with you or not, you are worth being listened to. Trust that.

Ha, look at that will you. I often tear people a new one for destructive reasons, I don't often have reason to do so for constructive purposes. It makes for a pleasant change and I think for a good purpose. Your opinions are as valid as anyone elses here; Never be afraid of expressing yourself. You can be assertive wihout being aggressive or adversarial.

The world is full of people who are willing to put you down. Why be so accomodating as to help them by doing that to yourself.
