A program is trying to access email addr

By jeffb ·
When ever I enable Word as my e-mail editor I now get the warning message that a program is trying to access e-mail addresses stored in Outlook. I'm using Office 2002 with Outlook 2002 and service pack 3 installed. Normally this message doesn't appear when enabling Word as the email editor.

It is a security perimeter invoked by outlook. Have you installed any new patches?

Just a note*** There is a new security threat when using Word as an email editor for Outlook. I would suggest using another editor. Below is the link (please remove any spaces).

I don't beleive it's suppose to do this when enabling Word as the editor. I've never seen it before with Word 2002 as the editor in an Exchange enviroment with Service pack 2 installed for Office 2002. I've seen it with other 3rd party products.

Change the default message format from Plain Text to RTF (see Tools, Options, Mail Format) and the messages should stop.
