a question about ahead incd

whenever i insert a blank cdrw disk into my burner, i dont receive a screen asking me if i would like to format the disk, and there is an exclamation mark over the incd icon in the taskbar. I am running an amd duron 700 mhz, 128 mb of ram and i havean imation 12x10x32 cdrw drive.
Please Help me. I have a load of mp3’s that i want to put on a cdrw disc, im taking a road trip this saturday. Thank You, Clarence
