I just read a post about Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET) and I watched the clip on the MS website about the tool. I would like to know if anyone in TR is using EMET and if it is any good. From what I can figure out, EMET would just be an extra layer of security I could use.
At the moment I am using NoScript for FF and NotScript for Chrome to try and reduce the potential of attacks. If I had to run EMET as well would this just be over kill or would it be a case of better safe than infected 🙂
I did a general search on TR and couldn’t find any articles with regards to EMET which would make me wonder if it is a worth while app or not. Normally if there is an article on the program, the comments section would be where I would make my mind up on whether or not to try the app.
EMET seems like it could be a good extra layer of security but first i would like to find out if anyone at TR has tested it yet.
