About MS Access

By m.murshid ·
Hi all
we're trying to make replicas of important databases in our company, the problem is that only forms (including the switchboard) are not copied to the replica even when exported manually, when it is copied, it's there but doesn't work. any suggestions?
many thanks

Probabaly missing the Macros and/or Modules, also the .INI file to be able to run it correctly. Could also be that it is setup in VB to look for external files in the directory that it is installed in, thus if it is installed on will not work on C:.

The exact error that occurs when you try to run it would be very helpful.

When you replicate a database, MS Access should replicate everything you have in ur database, including FORMS. Consider reinstalling/repairing your MS Office--might be corrupted--and make sure you include the Add-ins of MS Access.

before you proceed to replication, i suggest you goto help look for CREATE REPLICA topic to have an idea what will happen to the new database and what changes are gonna be, there are several changes in your fields, tables, and more.
