AC’97 Sound problem

Vinyl AC’97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM).
From Control Panel-Sound and Audio Devices Properties-Audio, Default device reports “No Playback device” and is greyed out. From Hardware tab- “Vinyl AC’97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM)” -Properties-Properties-Audio devices-Vinyl AC’97 Codec Combo Driver (WDM)-properties-status:Driver is enabled but has not been started.
I’m Not getting any sound but in Device Manager all sound drivers are reported ok.
