Access 2000

By Sprocket ·
I have created a few access databases for use in our company. I have set all the options so for users it goes straight into the menus and removes all non needed options for them, i still have the shift option to allow access into the database for work. Im not worried about the security too much as there not major things.

At the moment the forms are restricted to the access screen, is it possible to remove or hide these screens to show just the forms as if it was its own program. I still require access into the database though.

You can create a BMP file in a graphics program (even PaintBrush).

Save it in the same location with the same name as the .MDB file.

The problem is that most processors are so fast, it doesn't stay up that long. If you don't want any thing to show do the above with a 1 pixel .BMP file.

You can use Tools>Startup.Display form as is done in Northwind.mdb.

In my database i have a password protected form, my pop up form asking for the password is not restricted to the confinds of the Access Database Window (im not sure how this happened), so if i make Access a small screen i can still move the password form anywhere around my screen.

I would like to do the same with the whole database.
