Access 2000 - AutoNumber

How do I disable the AutoNumber on Access 2000 when starting a brand new database?

When starting a new Blank database there is no data type specified.

When it says add a primary key say no.

Make your ID field a number format not autonumber.
Also there are some user defined field names that prompt access to use as a key field eg ending with ID try using a different name for that field
As the other people have suggested say no to the prompt for primary key when saving the table.
