We are dealing with an Access 2000 report problem.
We have prepared a report that displays an OLE object of type Microsoft Word along with other information.
The problem is that suddently one day Access printed out all the other information but NOT the OLE object (Microsoft word). That part is BLANK in the print out. That part is blank and in preview mode, too.
The database is located in a distant file server. Also, if I open the database from another PC on the same network segment (actually my colleagues’s PC) the report is printed without problems. Thus, there is problem with the access 2000 in my PC.
Usually similar problems were solved by completely reinstalling(!!!) windows 98 and office 2000 in the problematic PC.
But now for some reason this problem solving “technique” is not working any more.
Anyway we want to avoid this consuming task (reinstallation).
Any ideas what is causing this “BLANK” symptom in access 2000?
