Hello Everybody
I am having with an Excel 2003 file copying over to Access 2003 into a table that matches identically to the spreadsheet. Note that there are no duplicates in the database and the Primary Key is set (SerialNum) yet I keep getting a message that:
“The change you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain the duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again”
Needless to say I did all the above yet I am still getting the same error. The tables with the rest of the database match up fine and I can set the key and indexes with no data present yet the data still will not migrate. I have a bachelors in information systems yet I cannot figure this out. Any suggestions?
