Access 2007 option group headache

By tintoman ·
I am constructing a database which contains many option groups. In all cases the only otions available are Yes and No.
When I first started working on this I put all the option groups in place using the wizard, and was easily able to configure the controls to return the words "YES" or "NO" in the appropriate fields on the datasheet.
This has now stopped working, the values returned are now -1 for yes and 0 for no.
If I try to add another option group I no longer get the opportunity to change the values to YES or NO because when I do that they automatically change back to -1 and 0.
Also I cannot change the data value in the properties for the option buttons for the same reason, i.e they keep changing themselves back, anyone know what's going on here?
