Access 97 combo boxes

By socrates4c ·
I've created some custom applications in MS Access 97. The forms have combo boxes that don't open at the bottom of the textbox, they open at the bottom of the screen. How can I anchor the top of the combobox to the bottom of the textbox. There's a little code such as, On Got Focus:"cmbSearch.Dropdown"

Access 97 combo boxes

It's a bit hard to tell from your question, but are you trying to build your own combo boxes out of a textbox and a listbox? If that is the case, OR if you just need to align the top of a combo box to the bottom of a text box, all you need is to gointo the form load event (Properties|Events|On Load). In the sub, you need to align the two objects horizontally:
combo1.left = text1.left
then align the top of the combo with the bottom of the textbox: = - text1.height
I hope I understood your question correctly.
