Access "Add-in Manager"

By QPS ·
My add-in manager isn't available? When I go to Tools, and try to select Add-in it doesn't work because it isn't "bolded". I can see it, but it's not available to use??? Any suggestions? I've tried the "detect & repair" option but that didn't doanything?

You must have a file open before you can use the manager. Any file will do.

I tried it with my database file open (*.mdb). I tried it while in a design view of a report, form, table, etc.. and it still has the "add-in" option under Tools "grey"'d out to where I can't use it?

They weren't installed. They aren't by default, so you have to explicitly tell the installation program to add them in. Re-run the install and burrow down in the tree, you'll find them.
