Access error list

By andrewafresh ·
Hello, Does anyone know how to get a list of all errors numbers and descriptions that may occur in an Access application?

I have standardised error code i wrote a few years ago and i want to check if some error numbers it traps for are still valid and still relate tothe same error.

I remember seeing a topic in Access help ages ago which explained how to build a table of errors but i have just looked there and cant find it.

Thank you
Andy

List of Errors

by Tink! In reply to Access error list

Here is a link to Microsoft's library of VB Script errors which I think should help you.

http://tinyurl.com/9hlaq

This link should take you to the VB Script page. In the lefthand frame collapse the "VBScript Language Reference" and then you'll see "Errors (VBScript)"
where you can choose to view the Runtime or the Syntax errors.

Found it!

searching for 'Function AccessAndJetErrorsTable' should take you to a page which describes how to get a table containing errors and their descriptions.

Microsoft Access List of Errors, Descriptions, and Help

by LukeChung In reply to Access error list

Here's a list I compiled of all the Microsoft Access errors and descriptions, with links for some of them to more detailed explanations.

Here's an additional link for other Microsoft Access related resources:

Hope this helps.
