Access Exchange email of another user

By erasmusw ·
I've been given Admin rights in a small company and my senior asked me to set up a way for the two of us to access each others emails from our own computers if one of us was to be sick.
I had OWA in mind, but that can only be used outside the network...?
I'm no Exchange guru, so I'm not a 100% sure.
server 2003, Exchange 2003, XP workstations.
What other options can I use to do this.

Delegate eachother under Outlook-> tools->option->delegate->Add then add each other and assight reviewer rights.

To open the other persons email click on (0Outlook)File-> Open-> other users's folder and type the name.

Forgot to add that you need to add him under your delegates and he needs to add you under his delegates.

Also, if the answer above is too difficult for you, you can get OWA working internally. If you know the IP address or server name of your Exchange server simply open a web browser and and type in servername/exchange or IPAddress/Exchange - This should take you straight to the login screen for OWA.
