Access for mobile users

by curlergirl . Updated 23 years, 8 months ago

I need to provide access to email, contacts, etc., either through OWA or directly through Outlook, to a very small (2 or 3) number of mobile users. Since there are only a few users, we’re talking low-cost solutions, not something like Mobile Info Server. Also for reasons of cost these users are resistent to going with a solution like Blackberry or Verizon where they have to pay per message. I am trying to figure out what level of access is feasible and what is the best mobile device (i.e., cell phone, Palm OS device or Pocket PC device) to use. The users ideally would like one device to do all – cell phone and PDA built in together – but I’m not sure there’s a device out there that will really do all this. I need real-life experiencesand specific recommendations if anyone has them. Thanks a bunch!!
