Access License ?????????

I just installed Office 97 and Word, Excel etc work fine, however, when I go to launch Access I get a message “Unable to start MS Access because there is no license on this computer. ?????????????????????????????????
Any suggestions.

This article, Q141373, details the cause for the problem, which is that Access is not properly registered. It tells you to rename the font, hatten.ttf, then reinstall Office 97, and rename the font back and that should solve your problem.
Also, there are separate instructions if you’re using NT or Win 2000. And if you use Win 98, there’s a downloadable tool that can fixthe problem.
