HOW DO I LOAD DRIVERS FOR USING FOXPRO.DBF FILES AND .DAT BTRIEVE FILES IN ACCESS

If the drivers are actually installed, go to the ODBC control panel applet, and create a data source for your FoxPro (example) files, give it a distinct name. Then from Access, you can either link or import the objects by right-clicking in the database window and choosing Import or Link Files. Both open a "File Open" type dialog box. At the bottom there is a drop-down selector for file types. Select ODBC source (should be the last one) and choose your FoxPro source that you created earlier. You should be able to do the same thing for the Btrieve data.

The drivers should have been installed when you installed Access. If not, re-run the install program and explicitly select those drivers you want for installation.
