Access Query and Table Listing

By MetalDragon ·
I create many databases and some are pretty large. They can contain many tables and qeries with many macros. When I have to modify or clean up old databases, I find it difficult to remember where they are all being referenced. I was wondering if there was a way that a list can be created that shows where all tables, queries and macros are referenced. This would save me so much time in modifying old databases. Thank you.

There is a utility that works great with MS Access called Speed Ferret (see http://www.moshannon.com/speedferret.html). This not only will answer your question, but give you the capability to globally change any of the references.

I have used the Access 97 version and was extremely pleased with it. One use was to rename the objects in a database created using a database wizard to a naming convention that the client requested.

Thanks for your answer! I have downloaded the demo version and it seems like it is what we were looking for. We are trying it out and are looking into possibly purchasing the full version. Thank you again. I think you know how much time this will save us in the future!
If there are any other programs that do the same thing, please let me know so I can try them out. Thank you.
