Access XP Data Entry

I’m trying to automate a purchase order database in Access. I had no problem creating the entry form, except… When I open the form, instead of starting with a new autonumber for the PO, the form starts with the top row in the table. I have to gothrough all of the table entries until I get to the new autonumber PO where I can enter data. How do I get the form to start with a new blank row instead of the top row?
