ACCESS’97/VISUAL BASIC ERROR

I’m using Access’97 under Windows 98 and whenever I open up one of the companys databases that involves any type of switchboard at the start or visual basic code it gives me a “compile error” and dumps me in the debugger screen.

These databases open up fine on other users PC’s who are using the same versions of Windows and Access.
I’ve tried running the Office’97 service packs up to level 2 but the problem is still there.
Could it be anything to do with the version of visual basic libraries installed?

Any help is appreciated.
